“Four Seasons, One Spring” brings together the various schools of landscape printmaking art from China and abroad, with an eclectic collection of artistic styles representing the diversity of different geographic regions. Song Yuanwen (b 1933)’s carving techniques and black to white transitions approach perfection, his deep sentiments for his hometown imbue his scenic depictions with an unyielding spiritual force. Zhao Haipeng (b. 1945) is a representative figure of Tanggu printmaking. He imbues modernist abstraction with the refined simplicity of Chinese ink, capturing the beauty of water landscapes with richly expressive cuts. Yu Chengyou (b 1953) is a leading figure of Great Northern Wilderness printmaking art. His fantastical landscape scenes tell of imaginative fairytales, while his poetic lines are splashed with magnificent pure colors. He Kun (b 1962) is a reduction woodcut artist from Yunnan Province, his dazzling colors and bold, rushing lines sing of the free and easy life under the brilliant Yunnan sun. Famous water print artist Ling Junwu (b. 1962) creates a vivid portrayal of the special refined, poetic spirit that is nurtured by the landscaped gardens of Suzhou.

当代艺术家陈琦（1963-）二十五年的专注实践革新了水印木刻这一中国文化遗产，其近期的创作更拓展了版画的界限，跨越装置、影像，体现了独立、自信的中国文人传统在当代的新生。在藏娇2011的展厅里，围绕着陈琦视觉效果迷幻的大型装置作品，展出了他代表中国出席法兰克福书展及被英国V&A博物馆收藏的代表作。

Contemporary artist Chen Qi (b 1963) has spent 25 years of dedicated practice reinvigorating the Chinese cultural tradition of water-based ink printmaking. His recent works have expanded the boundaries of print art to touch on installation and video, and embodying an independent and confident new incarnation of the Chinese literati tradition. At the 2011 NYFAPF exhibition hall, Chen Qi’s mesmerizing large installation works will be accompanied by other representative artworks, such as those featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair’s special exhibition to Guest of Honor Country-China and on collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum, UK.

From the earliest surviving woodcut print, the Diamond Sutra (868 AD), and the Ming dynasty’s fictionillustrations, to the propaganda posters of the Chinese revolution, the 2011 NYFAPF will present precious historical documents while also featuring the works of contemporary academy artists as well as experimental handcrafted books. These creations, brimming with the contemporary spirit, affirm the profound influence of printmaking over cutting-edge artistic practice.

于承佑（1953-）
国家一级美术师、第二代北大荒版画艺术家;
现为黑龙江省美术馆副馆长、黑龙江省美术家协会副主席、
黑龙江省版画院院长。
1984年《小屯之夜》获“第六届全国美展”银奖；
1999年 获鲁迅版画奖。
作品被中国美术馆、日本国际版画美术馆、英国木板基金会收藏。

赵海鹏(1945-)
塘沽版画的代表人物，鲁迅版画奖获奖者，塘沽文联副主席、中国美术家协会会员。
1969年毕业于天津美术学院；
1980年《沐浴》获第二届全国青年美展三等奖；
1992年《听雨》获日本国际版画研究会金奖。
作品被中国美术馆收藏，入编《中国美术年鉴》、《世界名人录》。

Zhao Haipeng(1945-)
Winner of Lunxun Printmaker award.;
Member of Chinese Artists Association;
Graduated from Tian Jin Academy of Fine Arts in 1969.
