中央美院著名艺术家谭平新作（韵画廊）代表了铜版创作中西合璧的大家风范：在他的艺术转变中，铜版起了决定性作用：二十余年前一次偶然的疏忽导致铜版超时腐蚀四个小时, 破碎、模糊的形式语言产生强烈震撼，启迪了谭平著名的抽象绘画。 The recent etchings of Tan Ping (Yun Gallery), the famous printmaker from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, represents the confluence of East and West in copper engraving: in his artistic transformation, copper engraving was definitive. Nearly twenty years ago, a chance oversight left one of his copper plates in the acid for four hours too long, and the fragmented, blurred visual language that resulted inspired Tan Ping's famous abstract painting.
