1961年毕业于中央美术学院版画系，后留校任教。曾任中央美术学院版画系主任、教授；
现任中国版画家协会常务副主席、中国美术家协会版画艺委会主任、《中国版画》主编。
宋源文作品入选：英国布拉德福德第九届不列颠国际版画双年展，并获奖；
《春汛》、《回旋曲》、《野花盛开的地方》入选第九、十、十一届全国版画展；
《长空万点觅归巢》入选第八届全国美展，《长空行》入选第十二届全国版画展；
作品被国内外美术馆、博物馆收藏。
Modern Printmaking Artist:Song YuanWen(1933-),

Assistant Director of Chinese Printmakers Association;
Chief Editor of Chinese Printmaking magazine.
Song's works won numerous national & international printmaking awards, and are collected by major museums in China & abroad.

中央美术学院教授，美术学博士，中国美术家协会会员。
作品连续获得第七、八、九届全国美展铜奖及优秀奖，中国第十三届版画展金奖。
作品分别被中国美术馆、上海美术馆、广东美术馆、江苏省美术馆、英国大不列颠博物馆、英国维多利亚阿尔伯特博物馆、Ashmolean Museum牛津、Sotheby's Institute of Art,伦敦、纽约国立图书馆、日本福岗美术馆和欧洲木版画基金会等机构收藏。

美国绝版木刻大师：戈登·莫特森（1938～）
1964年明尼亚波里艺术与设计学院艺术学士，之后在明尼苏达大学的研究生学院攻读。作品曾在多个展览中展出，如美国艺术博物馆﹑东京富士艺术博物馆以及芝加哥艺术学院等；曾获美国艺术名人及世界名人"Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in the World"荣誉。他是当代绝版木刻艺术家中的重要人物，他的作品多达六十四种颜色，创作历时三个月；画面丰富细腻，有着水彩画般的绚丽清新。
Contemporary Artist: Gordon Mortensen(USA,1938)
Gordon Mortensen is one of the best known reduction woodcut print artists working today.He received his BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1964 and studied for three years in the post- graduate program at University of Minnesota. His work is in public and private collections including, Museum of American Art, Tokyo Fuji Art Museum and Chicago Art Institute. He is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in the World.

He works from watercolor studies to understand the color dynamics needed for the woodcut. The artist uses up to sixty-four colors and takes as long as three months to create the woodblock image. Although the final outcome has a painterly feel, it is unmistakably a woodcut with rich layered colors and wood grain textures. "Art," declares Gordon Mortensen, "is my addiction, my drug, my life. I am compelled to do it." Indeed he is, devoting between eight and twelve hours a day, seven days a week, to his intricate reduction woodcuts -- woodcuts that are so skillfully done, most people think they are watercolors on Japanese rice papers.
